This interactive workshop will focus on the fundamentals of caring for the crashing patient. Participants will acquire knowledge and understanding of various critical incidents within the Emergency Department. This workshop will also encourage participants to develop new skills in the team orientated process of recognising and managing deteriorating patients within the ED environment.

Who should attend?

Emergency Nurses, Paramedics, Retrieval Staff, ICU nurses, Trauma Nurses, Theatre Nurses, Nursing Students or anyone involved in the care of the critical care patient.


Catering:

The course is fully catered for including tea and coffee on arrival, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Dietary preferences will be collected in the registration form.



Do you provide notes for the session?

Yes, however we are concerned over the impact of large amounts of paper being wasted. However we offer all our talks, further articles of interest and relevant videos on a USB that each participant will recieve on the day.
